Breakfast was good. The location with the rooftop bar that has exceptional views of the Duomo. Make reservations for the bar or you may not get seated.

No iron in the room but an ironing lounge instead. This was their solution instead of providing an iron.

The location is okay.

We realized that we lost our things on the train on the first night we arrived, so we went to the front desk to seek help. However, the staff was not helpful and wasn’t trying to help. We also asked for a taxi to the train station, but the staff told us to go outside and hail for a taxi. The second day, we were in the room when the housekeeper came in. We asked if she could come in thirty minutes later, and she rolled her eyes. After we got back to our room, we found an used glove on our room floor. Also, the towel we left in the tub were left there and she didn’t even bother changing it. We went down to the front desk again and the other staff asked us what we wanted her to do in a very unfriendly way. She then said she’d send someone to change our towels and remove the glove right away. Surprisingly, when we got back from dinner, the towel and the glove were still there. On the third day, we left our towel in the tub again expecting to receive new towels, but realized that they were simply folded back. It claim to be a five star luxury hotel, but the service is nothing more than three star.

Before we received your request for a review, we rated the hotel a "7 out of a possible 10". The hotel linens were superb. Housekeeping staff kept the rooms clean and comfortable. The environmental air conditionsing was excellent. Some of the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast meal was a great buffet with diverse food items of great quality. The location was ideal to Firenze attractions.

We did not like two twin beds being pushed together and being told that we were getting a king sized bed! The bed was not anchored; so it moved. The wine prices in the roof top bar were over-priced. Some front desk staff were not polite. We were disappointed that the room and bath were very small for what I thought reserved on the Internet.
